BIOGRAPHY

Sian Proctor is an American geoscientist, explorer, STEM communicator, and astronaut analog researcher. She served as pilot on the Inspiration4 mission, becoming the fourth African American woman to go to space. She was a finalist in the 2009 NASA astronaut selection and holds a PhD in curriculum and instruction with a geology focus.
